WHAT WE DO
Structural engineering, end to end
From a single beam calculation to a full permit set, we handle the structure so your project clears code, budget, and schedule. Fees below are typical starting points; every project is quoted as a fixed fee before we begin.
PE-sealed drawing sets
Complete structural drawings and analysis for additions, renovations, and new structures — prepared to current code and sealed for permit submittal using CAD software.
From $1,600
Structural calculations
Beams, columns, headers, and footings, including load-bearing wall removals and LVL header sizing. When the structure has to work as a frame, we model it in RISA rather than checking members one at a time.
From $500
Engineering inspections & letters
Detailed assessment of existing walls, floors, beams, and foundations, documented in a signed letter or report your permit office, lender, or insurer will accept. Inspections include one-hour site visit within 30 minutes of our office.
From $600
Renovations & rehabilitation
Structural design for basement finishes, wall removals, deck and porch rebuilds, and the design of repairs to aging framing and foundations.
Quoted per project
Retaining walls
Analysis and sealed drawings for reinforced concrete and masonry cantilevered retaining walls, including global stability considerations.
Quoted per project
Consulting & site visits
Second-opinion reviews, permit support, contractor coordination, and on-site evaluation when you need an engineer's judgment before committing to a scope. All site visits are scoped with estimated drive time and time on site.
$200/hour
WHO WE WORK WITH
One firm, three kinds of client
Homeowners
A licensed engineer — not a salesperson — tells you what your home actually needs, in writing your permit office will accept. Wall removals, additions, foundation questions, decks and porches.
Architects & design-build
A structural partner who protects your schedule and your drawings. When the structure fights the design, we look for the solution that keeps your elevation — in wood, steel, or concrete — before we ask you to move a wall.
Contractors & builders
Fast letters, calculations, and inspections that keep your job moving — priced flat, delivered when promised. We work around your framing and inspection schedule, not the other way around.
